Here at GEM Ltd we have developed our own advanced thermal treatment that recovers energy from waste.

Our thermal treatment offers numerous advantages, it identifies waste resources as a valuable fuel solution and utilises the fuel by using an efficient conversion technology to convert it into a synthetic gas. The synthetic gas that is produced is used as a replacement for natural gas thereby reducing the need to rely on fossil fuels. The synthetic gas also generates renewable heat and energy. It helps to reduce the need for using a landfill without discouraging people from recycling and can improve the impact on the environment when compared to traditional forms of waste disposal.

Thermal treatment generates electricity by catching the water contained in fossil fuels reducing energy waste.

When a power station takes on thermal power, the power station has to contain turbines that are fitted to a catcher, the steam is what the water feeds through, then is passed to a generator where the water is then transferred into towers and cooled down.

Then the liquid is stored in the towers then travels through a thermal filter where the carbon and ash deposits are deposited. When it has been filtered it then goes through a blast cooler. This thermal treatment is so quick that it doesn’t have time to react with any other chemicals.

Finally the engine is fired up to produce stream then it is blasted and fed through a generator and converted into electrical energy.
