Graveson Energy Management (GEM) has developed an Advanced Conversion Technology for the waste to energy market. Using Flash Pyrolysis the GEM process can convert any carbon based material into clean high quality synthetic gas which can be used as fuel or to generate electricity.


With well respected heritage dating back to the early nineteen twenties in both the waste and gas generation sectors from the Graveson family, GEM’s patented pyrolysis technology presents an effective solution to both these markets, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and reliance upon landfill.


The Company was established in 1997 in Hampshire, before moving to South Wales in 2006. With technology development conducted at both pilot plant and full scale, GEM has demonstrated the suitability of a wide variety of feedstock’s for conversion into alternative energy.
